Careful What You Wish For
SPW Co-Founder, Ro signs on and films a quick video as she leaves visit
As I left visit Saturday afternoon, I decided to pick up where I had left off on my way there. So, as I was driving back to the hotel from the prison facility, I filmed a quick video explaining the events of today’s prison visit. Unfortunately, “another one bit the dust.” I’m unsure if the new warden has given instructions for his cops to be more strict during visit, if there is something going on at the facility of which we are unaware or what the reasoning but someone has gotten kicked out of the visiting room every time we’ve been there since the fall…plus two separate couples who got expelled while Adam’s mother was visitng the week before me. Often, there have been a few “offenders” in one day.
The first time I experienced someone getting kicked out of the visiting hall was quite traumatic. Now, I’m used to it. If you’re interested in that drama, comment below and I’ll be glad to share the details of the story. There is never a dull moment in jail!
After I quickly touched upon what happened to the girl who got kicked out of the visiting room; I added my thoughts on having to ”be careful what you wish for.” Click on the video below to find out what I mean. I’m sure many strong prison wives have shared the exact wishes I describe.

Holy crap! I didn’t know this happened to other women! My anxiety gets SO crazy before my visit. One of my first visits I had a full blown panic attack and still sometimes get pretty bad before hand and totally have to talk myself down the whole time.
Hey Suzy! Welcome to the site! Its great to have you as part of SPW. You are definitely not alone must of us feel some sort of anxiety the morning of visit, even after many years.
